Certified Holistic Health Counselor

According to Ayurveda, most ailments originate from the imbalances of the digestive system and mind. Ayurveda teaches us how to make conscious nutritional choices that are best suited for our bodies and minds, and in harmony with our individual Prakruti, or constitution. Food, the seed of life force within all living things, nourishes the body, mind, and spirit and is ultimately our best medicine.

This program is a comprehensive course on creating wellness. It covers the Four Pillars of Nutrition (Food, Exercise, Breathing, Sleep / Meditation), as well as healing through the five senses. This includes the aspects of Touch (self-massage), Smell (aromatherapy, blending essential oils for Ayurvedic products), Sight (color therapy, crystals, etc.), Sound (sound and mantra therapy), and Taste (preparing healthy Ayurvedic meals). All of these techniques rest upon the skill of ascertaining an individual’s unique constitution and thus are formulated to improve the quality of life for each person.
