VAIDYA (DR.) Naina Marballi

AYURVEDACHARYA

Ayurvedacharya B.S.A.M. (Bombay University) D.A.C

With over 40 years of experience in teaching and practicing Ayurveda around the globe, Dr. Naina Marballi has been healing clients, conducting workshops, and hosting Ayurvedic Study Certification Programs based in New York City since 1998. She is the primary Ayurvedacharya of Ayurvedas World.

Additionally, Dr. Naina currently lectures and conducts classes on a wide range of topics (Ayurveda Nutrition; Healing Through the Five Senses: Color, Sound, Aroma, Touch, Taste; Non-Invasive Ayurveda Face Lift; Ayurveda Skin-Care Product Making; Ayurveda Dinacharya: Lifestyle and Diet; Ayurveda Facials; and Ayurveda Therapies: Panchakarma, Marma Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Stone-Abhyanga, Udvartana, Pitchalli, Kati Basti and Potli Svedan) at various institutions such as The New York Core Center, Sacred Stone Institute in Rhode Island, The Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY, The New York Open Center, Mount Sinai Hospital and the Cancer Treatment Division at Beth-Israel Medical Center.

In 1977, Vaidya Naina Marballi graduated as a research-oriented Ayurvedic Physician from Poddar Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Center, affiliated with Bombay University. After acquiring her B.S.A.M. (Bachelor of Shuddha Ayurvedic Medicine) degree from India’s premier educational institute, she began her career as an Ayurvedic Physician (Ayurvedacharya) with Poddar Ayurveda College and Research Center in Mumbai, India.

In 1985, Vaidya Naina came to the United States to augment her education in Ayurveda by completing an Advanced Skin Care Program. This enabled her to develop, test, and certify hair and skin care product lines in strict compliance with ancient Ayurvedic guidelines, in addition to conducting clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies in India to bring high-quality Ayurvedic products to the global market. Mastering this modern skincare education and pairing it with her knowledge of holistic beauty and wellness found at the core of Ayurveda philosophy, Dr. Naina envisioned a merging of the two that manifested as a first-of-its-kind Ayurveda Wellness and Skin Care Center in the heart of Mumbai. Her specialty lies in disease prevention; through a pulse reading, she is able to analyze imbalances within the chakras, for healing. These gifts of knowledge were received from her gurus and have been cultivated through her relentless hard work and dedication to the field of Ayurveda. With her matchless combination of Ayurvedic knowledge and Esthetics education, expressed over 40 years of applied experience and commitment, she has introduced thousands of students and clients alike to the maintenance of good health within the body, mind, and consciousness.
